Repeat As Needed: Responding To Badass Women

Facilitated by Dustin Brookshire

Date: 6/27/26, 1-3pm (EST)

Join this generative poetry workshop where we dive into the work of badass women poets and write with intention in response to their words. We’ll explore poems by Victoria Chang, Denise Duhamel, Diamond Forde, Beth Gylys, Dorianne Laux, Maureen Seaton, & Patricia Smith. We’ll spend the majority of the session writing, with space for optional sharing at the end. You’ll leave this workshop with at least five new drafts!

*Workshops hosted by Small Harbor Publishing serve as both creative spaces and fundraising initiatives. Facilitators receive 60% of ticket proceeds, while the remaining 40% supports SHP’s mission to support authors and sustain operations. All workshops are available at $15 or $25, whichever works for you. A limited number of BIPOC scholarships are available — please email operations@smallharborpublishing for additional information.
